Identity

States of Wordlessness

Neurodivergent Space is distinct from neurotypical experience, but it cannot be described.

The neuroverse must be experienced. Neurodivergent Space is unique to each neurodivergent person. At this groundbreaking, neuro-inclusive online event commissioned by Autograph, audiences were warmly invited to experience it.

Artists Sonia Boué, Sonja Zelić, and Lucy Barker presented text, audio, film, and photography from their creative practice to articulate and share their experiences of Neurodivergent Space.

The event prioritised a sensory philosophy and reflected on experiences of wordlessness and situational mutism. During the event, a link to a Google Jamboard was provided as a doodle or stim space.

This event is available to view below (1 hour 26 mins).
